A very down to earth approach to mindfulness and meditation by a cynical, yet humourous author. Harris is a leading US TV journalist. He steps the reader through his exposure to many of the leaders of the 'mindfulness movement', including Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, Dalai lama and others. His journal of a 10 day Buddhist retreat throws more light on his experience and subsequent belief in the practice of meditation.
